Welcome to Project Ephphatha

Our aim is to put together different stories of hearing - whether via hearing aids or cochlear implants, from all over the Philippines. Through these stories, may we find hope, encouragement, and inspiration as we go through our own hearing journeys.

We are Noel and Maia, parents to J who has a cochlear implant and hearing aid. As we’ve traversed this special adventure ever since J was born, we have learned a thing or two we’d like to share with you here.

As Jesus looked up to the heavens with a sigh of trust, uttered “ephphatha” and the deaf man’s ears were opened, may we continue to trust and be open to everyday miracles our hearing journeys bring upon us.
